Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 2025-06-14.

Ned Melanson and Ned4Cambridge are working to make our city and our site, www.ned4cambridge.com, accessible to people with disabilities.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

As a disability rights advocate, I know how important accessibility is. While I’m not a web designer, I’m committed to doing my best--and learning along the way--to make sure this site is usable for everyone. I've taken steps to adapt this site in accordance with WCAG 2.x guidelines. My intent is that the site's content works with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. To get closer to that ideal, I and my team have also:

  • Used the web host's built-in tools to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site

  • Added alternative text to images where possible

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

  • and will ensure future videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible
